Cookie Policy
1. What are cookies?
A cookie is a small text file that a website places on your browser when you visit. Cookies help websites remember your preferences, keep you logged in, analyse usage, and deliver advertising. "Similar technologies" include web beacons, pixel tags, local storage, and device identifiers — we use the word "cookies" below to cover all of these.
Cookies can be first-party (set by us) or third-party (set by other services we use, like Google or Meta). They can also be session cookies (deleted when you close your browser) or persistent cookies (stored until they expire or you delete them).
2. Categories of cookies we use
Strictly Necessary (always active)
These cookies are required for the site to function. They enable core features like security, cookie consent preferences, and form submission. You cannot switch them off through our cookie banner, because the site will not work properly without them. They do not track you across other websites and are not used for advertising.
Analytics (consent required)
These cookies help us understand how visitors use the site. They tell us which pages are popular, how people move through the site, and where we can improve. They are only active after you grant consent.
Marketing (consent required)
These cookies are used by us and by third-party advertising partners (Google, Meta, Microsoft) to show relevant ads on other websites, measure ad performance, and build lookalike audiences. They are only active after you grant consent.

Note: This table lists the cookies we most commonly use. The actual cookies set during your visit may vary depending on your activity, the third-party services active at the time, and your consent choices.
4. Google Consent Mode v2
We implement Google's Consent Mode v2 on this site. This means that even if you visit from a region where consent is required (EEA, UK, Switzerland, California), certain Google services may load in a "consent-denied" state — Google receives pings without cookies or identifiers until you consent. If you consent, the full functionality is enabled. If you reject, Google receives only aggregated, anonymised data. The four consent signals we send are ad_storage, ad_user_data, ad_personalization, and analytics_storage.
5. Global Privacy Control
If your browser sends the Sec-GPC: 1 header (Global Privacy Control), we treat that as a valid request to opt out of the sale or sharing of your personal information for cross-context behavioural advertising. We automatically set advertising signals to "denied" and disable marketing cookies. Many browsers support GPC natively (Firefox, Brave) or via an extension.
6. How to manage cookies
Via our cookie banner
When you first visit our site, a cookie banner appears. You can choose:
- Accept all — all cookies active.
- Reject all — only strictly necessary cookies active.
- Customise — choose Analytics and Marketing individually.
You can change your choice any time by clicking the "Cookie Settings" link in the footer or the floating cookie icon at the bottom-left corner of any page.
Via your browser
Most browsers let you view, manage, or delete cookies. Search "cookie settings" in your browser's help menu, or visit:
Note: blocking strictly necessary cookies will prevent parts of the site from functioning.
Via advertising opt-outs
- Google Ads: Google Ads Settings
- Google Analytics: Analytics Opt-out Add-on
- Meta: Facebook Ad Preferences
- Microsoft: Microsoft Ad Settings
- Network Advertising Initiative: NAI opt-out tool
- Digital Advertising Alliance: DAA opt-out tool
7. Do Not Track
Because there is no common industry standard for interpreting the "Do Not Track" browser signal, we do not currently respond to DNT at this time. However, we do honor the Global Privacy Control (GPC) signal described above.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this Cookie Policy as we add or change tools. The "Last updated" date at the top reflects the current version. Material changes are communicated through the cookie banner or by notice on the site.
