Affiliate Disclosure

Last updated: 19 April 2026 · In compliance with 16 CFR Part 255 (FTC Endorsement Guides)
The short version: When you click some links on this site and make a purchase, we earn a commission. It costs you nothing extra. We only recommend products we genuinely believe in, but you should always do your own research before buying anything.

1. Why this disclosure exists

We believe in transparency. The U.S. Federal Trade Commission requires that when someone endorses or recommends a product and has a "material connection" with the seller (like earning a commission), that relationship must be clearly and conspicuously disclosed. This page does exactly that. We also publish this disclosure to comply with the guidelines of affiliate networks we work with, including ClickBank, WarriorPlus, and Amazon Associates.

2. How we make money from affiliate links

Some of the links on this site are "affiliate links." When you click an affiliate link and then make a purchase from the merchant, we may receive a commission. The price you pay is the same whether you use our link or go directly to the merchant — our commission comes out of the merchant's marketing budget, not your pocket.

Examples of where you will find affiliate links on our site:

3. Affiliate networks and merchants we work with

We participate in affiliate programs including (but not limited to):

ClickBankCBL.L.L.C. (Idaho, USA)Digital info-products, software, courses
WarriorPlusWarrior Special Offers LLC (USA)Digital marketing tools, courses, software

Amazon Associates-specific notice (required by the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program Operating Agreement):

As an Amazon Associate we earn from qualifying purchases. INDesign Marketing Services is a participant in the Amazon Services LLC Associates Program, an affiliate advertising program designed to provide a means for sites to earn advertising fees by advertising and linking to Amazon.com.

4. How we choose what to recommend

We do not recommend products based on commission amount alone. Our selection criteria, in order of priority:

  1. Relevance — the product genuinely helps our audience.
  2. Quality — the product has a solid track record and reasonable reviews.
  3. Trust — the merchant has reliable customer support and a fair refund policy.
  4. Value — the pricing is fair for what is delivered.

If a product fails one of these criteria, we do not recommend it — even if it pays a high commission. We would rather send you to a better product and earn a smaller commission than send you to a poor product for a bigger commission.

5. Independence of our opinions

Receiving a commission does not influence our editorial judgement of a product. When we write about or recommend a product, we try to give you an honest picture including limitations and drawbacks. You will sometimes see us recommend products that offer no commission at all, because we think they are worth your attention.

We may receive free review copies, trial access, or invitations to beta programs from merchants. This does not obligate us to write a positive review or recommend the product. Any such material connection is disclosed in the relevant content.

6. No guarantees of results

Recommending a product is not a guarantee that it will work for you. Results from any product depend on many factors including your existing skills, effort, market conditions, and circumstances. See our full Earnings Disclaimer.

7. If something goes wrong with a purchase

Any transaction you make through an affiliate link is between you and the merchant. The merchant handles payment, delivery, support, refunds, and warranty. We cannot resolve issues with the merchant on your behalf.

If you run into a problem:

  1. Contact the merchant's customer support directly.
  2. If the merchant is unresponsive, use the refund process of the affiliate network (ClickBank, WarriorPlus, and Amazon all have formal refund procedures).
  3. If the merchant has been deceptive, you can report them to the affiliate network or to consumer protection authorities.

We appreciate knowing if a product we recommended disappointed you. Email info@indesignms.com and we will review whether to continue recommending the product.

8. How disclosure appears on our pages

We follow the FTC's "clear and conspicuous" standard by:

9. Cookies and tracking through affiliate links

When you click an affiliate link, the affiliate network typically places a cookie on your browser so they can attribute a purchase back to us. These cookies are set by the affiliate network, not by us. We describe our own cookie use in our Cookie Policy. You can manage affiliate cookies through your browser settings.
